CBA believes that if you teach young people to play by the rules, they will learn to live by the rules. The leagues are designed to help young people develop into better adults through participation in organized, supervised competitive athletics. Sportsmanship, teamwork, self reliance, and self-discipline are some of the positive characteristics that are learned, along with how to win and how to accept defeat, by participation in organized league play. The Association (known as CBA) offers a variety of programs for inexperienced players to seasoned veterans looking for a competitive environment.
