Downtown Dallas Parks Conservancy

Harwood park:continuing its focus on building Parks and green space in Downtown Dallas, the Conservancy worked collaboratively with the city of Dallas park and recreation department to acquire the land, design, and build harwood park -- a 3.8 acre park in the vibrant east quarter neighborhood near Dallas farmers market. What was once surface parking and asphalt is now a beloved park with a striking playground, interactive fountain, performance space, dog runs, and a rain garden. Final construction punch list activity concluded in 2024.
