In FY2024, The Umbrella Foundation held 10 board meetings, 18 administrative working sessions, and 16 strategy and planning meetings. These meetings supported ongoing operational oversight and guided a strategic shift in our mission. This year, we began to broaden our focus beyond employment to provide more holistic support for the neurodiverse community. Through research, stakeholder feedback, and community engagement, we identified key areas of need, including life skills development, mentorship, and access to supportive resources for individuals with Aspergers and high-functioning Autism. As part of this transition, we revised our program framework, updated our messaging and branding, and began laying the groundwork for partnerships with organizations aligned with our expanded mission. We are also developing new content and outreach strategies to better serve neurodiverse individuals and their families in a more comprehensive way.
