Friends of Simsbury Farms, inc., is an irs approved 501(c)(3) charity that supports the town of Simsbury's Farms complex by raising funds for improvements to the Farms complex that the town would not fund. This is done through fundraising and donations from the public in furtherance of our mission statement. We gerally raise about $20,000 per year net of expenses. All projects need the approval of the town of Simsbury's board of selectmen. Any funds necessary to complete the projects are transferred from our chartiy to the town to pay for the approved projects. One of the town officials is on our board of directors as a liason to the town. All other directors are volunteers.
