RFTC performs several functions designed to benefit the community:It provides space for pro-bono projects (eg. The Children's Psychotherapy Project, which serves foster children, and Senior Psychotherapy Project, which is designed to serve the elderly).It also houses group training programs in Sandplay Therapy, Family Therapy, Schema-Focused Therapy, and Medically-Focused Therapy (for people and families coping with medical illness).In addition, it functions as an incubator, providing affordable office space (hourly rentals) and supervision for theraphists who are just starting their practices.
