Bechdel Project

To promote the performing arts and the presence of women in film, theatre and performing arts, and to expand the availability, breadth and diversity of roles for women in these mediums, with a particular emphasis on promoting performing arts that satisfy the "Bechdel test" which asks whether a work of fiction features at least two women who talk to each other about something other than a man.
