Slate Property Arts & Culture Endowment Inc

The organization was created to help preserve the cultural diversity that has fueled Brooklyn development, with a specific focus on underserved communities. The organization supports arts and Culture in selected north Brooklyn communities by awarding funding and providing access to community SPACE to applicants proposing projects in visual arts (film, photography, murals) performance arts and cultural events. The organization is interested in projects and events that bring all parts of the community closer together, bridges racial, socioeconomics and cultural gaps, raises awareness about critical issues and topics, and demonstrate creative ways to solve problems. Also projects or events that help fade boundaries and reach diverse communities.
