To promote public safety, the fair and effective administration of justice, and professionalism of policing in Bristol County and the commonwealth of Massachusetts while assuring all people's constitutional safeguards; to provide leadership and support for the foregoing purposes, including identifying and securing resources, advocating for continuing education and development, acting as a liaison with other organizations on matters related to such purposes, monitoring judicial policy, advocating for legislative action, providing leadership for research, information sharing and program assesssment to establish best practices for progressive policing within Bristol County and the commonwealth of Massachusetts.
