Renewport is a community development nonprofit with the goal of improving the overall quality of life for all Newport Kentucky residents Renewport began and continues as a citizen driven volunteer project Anyone interested in seeing improvements in the City of Newport is invited to lend a hand or donate resources to the organization The Renewport task forces work hard to plan projects around the city in the areas of Economic Development Housing Education Beautification Sustainability Health Wellness and Transportation Some of our reoccurring projects include planting trees around the city improving out parks managing a facade grant for local business improvement assisting our public school system with their initiatives and helping restore abandoned houses for equitable redevelopment
