The mission of the Coalition is Defiance County promoting substance use awareness. The purpose of the Defiance County Drug Free Coalition is to document and inform the Defiance community about the extent of the alcohol and drug abuse in Defiance County; to foster coordination of existing resources in effectively addressing the problem; to collaborate with other community organizations to fill the gaps in the community's alcohol and drug abuse prevention efforts; to provide advice, advocacy, coordination, information, research and evaluation, technical support and training as needed to accomplish these objectives and to secure funding through grants, contributions and or fundraisers as appropriate.
