To promote the common interest in the planning, construction, care, operation, andstewardship of facilities used by universities, colleges, schools, and other institutionsof education within the commonwealth of Virginia; to promote professionaldevelopment and standards among those engaged in this work; to aid andsupplement the work of appa; and to engage in such activities as may be needed tofulfill the purposes and objectives of VAPPA.
