The Mission of the South County Minority Achievement Committee is to understand and help eliminate Achievement and opportunity gaps in the under-represented Minority community. The goals and objectives we have for the South County students and community are to: 1. Attain higher academic Achievement, 2. Increase parent and community awareness/involvement, 3. Improve Achievement assessment scores, 4. Increase enrollment in honors and advanced placement courses, 5. Increase student leadership and extra-curricular participation, 6. Develop student readiness & preparedness for college or the workforce, and 7. Establish & implement programs, policies, and strategies that have a positive impact on the Achievement of minorities and all South County students.
