National Basketball Wives Association Inc

The NBWA's mission is to galvanize women of influence to nurture our youth, build strong communities and work together to achieve economic stability for women and families. Strategic priority areas are:(1) economic advancement of women and families; (2) education/youth development; and (3) membership engagement. Signature events are the empowerment series during nba all-star weekend and the summer league retreat during nba summer league in Las Vegas, with focus on membership engagement and activation, empowerment and social impact. Annually, and as part of the books&ball program, the NBWA teams up with schools to support tutoring, sat and act prep, credit recovery and other educational support for student athletes, low-income and historically underrepresented students.
