Fast Blackfeet

Fast (food access and sustainability team) Blackfeet is a nonprofit organization founded by a group of involved citizens who are dedicated to improving food security, providing nutrition education, and reclaiming & building food sovereignty within the Blackfeet nation. We recognize that this work is complex, addresses issues that touch on all aspects of our lives, and is a long-term endeavor. Because of this, we welcome collaboration with any organization or individual working to address food sovereignty in our community, county, or state. Our vision is a healthy, strong, and food secure Blackfeet nation. The three main pillars of Fast Blackfeet are: improving food security, providing nutrition education, and food sovereignty creating a food secure and sovereign system.
