Housing - weld collaborates with homeowners and development companies in the greater Seattle area to utilize and care for properties that are not occupied to house weld members. Weld members are required to pay a small membership fee to participate in the program and weld full time staff monitors the houses and members to ensure safety and compliance. This program greatly serves our members and community by housing individuals who otherwise would struggle or be unable to find a place to live. In 2024, we served 230 members in our housing program, served by our full time housing staff of 5 and case management staff of 4 individuals.
