EIN 81-4554350 · Snapshot of IRS recognition, filing currency, financial health, and governance.
The amended purpose of the corporation from 2018 through 2020 was "to develop technical solutions in food production, optimize nutrition and energy in food for increased health, and educate the public about these developments and solutions." This was the vision of Howard F. Wilkins II who served as the chief executive officer from 2019 to his passing on Feb. 19, 2021. The remaining members of the Board of Trustees, having discussed the loss of Howard F. Wilkins II, and his vision, discerned there was no viable path forward for the organization. Due to the pandemic of 2020, and Howard's illness and passing in Feb. of 2021, there was no development on the properties purchased in the latter part of 2019 and no advancement of the Powered Foods' mission. Thus, the Board of Trustees, by unanimous written Consent dated Aug. 9, 2021, agreed it is in the best interest of the organization to dispose of its assets, pay its debts, and dissolve the Ohio 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation.
