The mission of the Wiley HICKS JR Roping foundation is to develop public interest in ranching and agriculture Western heritage through conducting periodic Roping competitions in the amarillo, Texas area.the organization facilitates periodic Roping competitions in amarillo, Texas at the tri-state expo fair grounds. The organization donates its revenues after winnings and expenses to a local charity in the Texas panhandle and oklahoma as selected by the board of directors.
