Illuminate is a web-based global initiative to increase the awareness of and engagement in yom hashoah (holocaust remembrance day) and holocaust remembrance in general around the world. The initiative is centered around a website and mobile application that allows users to be part of global candle lighting ceremonies on yom hashoah to honor victims who died in the holocaust. Throughout the year, the website will be a source of information, education and content, all with the purpose of remembering and commemorating the memory of the holocaust. Users can register on the website or mobile platform and become part of the illuminate community.
