The corporation is organized to support the arts: visual, culinary, music, comedy, dance and literature- mep works at the intersection of art and community. The corporation will organize programming and activities that foster skill set training for individuals across the arts. The goal is to introduce, educate, and expose the community to the values of art and such related activities in order to combat community deterioration in economically challenged areas of Chicago, Illinois by providing outlets to community members to express individual creativity and provide an environment for group interaction outside of the realm of underserved neighborhoods.
