To incorporate concern for the basic needs of all people, especially the most disadvantaged and disenfranchised, and for the well-being and continuation of the Jewish people; to promote Jewish education, help disadvantaged people gain self-sufficiency and control over their lives, and support the ideals that strengthen local involvement, leadership, and institutional development; to strengthen the connection between the Jewish people around the world with their religion and spiritual homeland, fostering a love for Jewish tradition and the land of israel through educational and torah-based programs; to provide information to lay leaders, rabbinical persons, and Community activists concerning the educational benefits of connecting the Jewish people to their rich heritage, culture and religion.
