EIN 82-1427301 · Snapshot of IRS recognition, filing currency, financial health, and governance.
LEAD (Love Everything About Dogs) was a volunteer-run, non-profit 501(c)(3) dog Rescue devoted to helping animals in need and lowering the euthanasia rates for Chicago area open-access shelters. Our mission was to provide care for Rescue dogs that don't have a place to call home. We rehabilitated, fostered, and provided a loving environment to any dog that needs us until a suitable adoptive home is found. LEAD completely shut down in 2022 and redistributed its remaining net assets to other animal welfare organizations.
