The Mavericks Community Foundation is an Arizona Qualified Charitable Organization (QCO). Individuals' charitable contributions made directly to a QCO provide dollar-for-dollar tax benefits, allowing taxpayers to reduce their Arizona tax liabilities for each dollar donated, up to the maximum allowable limits. These dollars directed to the MCF allows us to help individuals with immediate needs and grant assistance right away, as opposed to the giving structure in the West Valley Mavericks Foundation which is annual and to organization through a grant application.
