The specific purpose of this corporation is to (I) provide financial support to individuals and families in Northern California that are in need of emergency or temporary assistance; (ii) provide scholarships to individuals who are candidates for a degree at an "educational organization" (as such term is defined in the code and the treasury regulations promulgated thereunder); (iii) promote the health, safety and welfare of residents of Northern California; and (iv) carry on other charitable activities associated with these goals as allowed by law.
