Gloria Great Basin exists to support research in alpine plant communities. This year, we conducted Gloria surveys on 10 mountains in the US West while providing fellowships to students to join our survey teams. We brought together teams of academics, state and federal agency personnel, students, and community scientists to teach survey techniques and botany while fostering cross-pollination among members of the survey teams.
