The boys and girls club of Lansing is a 501(c)(3) and 509(a)(1) organization which has as its purpose: to provide behavioral guidance and promote health, social, educational, vocational, and character development of boys and girls. As stated in its articles of incorporation, the Lansing Area Orthopedic Subsidiary of the bgc's purpose is to help carry out the purposes of the boys and girls club of Lansing. This is done by sponsoring an annual medical lecture which includes a vendor showcase to raise funds in support of the boys and girls club of Lansing.
