Now and Tomorrow

Now and Tomorrow uganda runs informal school readiness programs in the nakivale refuee settlement in southwest uganda. It has been doing this work since 2019 when the first three cohorts of 50 out of school children began the educational journey with the soma soma program. Since that time, over 2500 children have completed the soma soma program and are now enrolled full-time in government and private schools in nakivale.now and Tomorrow uganda continues to monitor the children to makes sure they stay in school and maintains a coordinator in each community they serve. Those coordinators have started livelihoods programs for the parents of the children and in several cases have started early childhood development centers for the pre-school age children
