EIN 82-4525559 · Snapshot of IRS recognition, filing currency, financial health, and governance.
The Gnome Haus crafts theatre, focusing on stories with elements of magic that feature Queer, POC, and Female identifying artists. We believe that gnomes are inventive, inquisitive, durable, grounded, assured, community based, and playful. We strive to emulate these seven qualities, and create conversations, through our art and workshops that create space for every Gnome. Our programming includes a season kick-off showcase that announces our season, and donates the ticket sales for that event to another non-profit organization. Each season, we then develop and produce plays that have elements of magic or magical realism and feature narratives from Queer and POC communities. We hold community conversations (I.e. Talkbacks) after select performances. We also offer workshops for teens and adults (I.e. College audition prep, voice workshops, writing workshops). To maximize our impact, we occasionally partner with/support similar non-profit organizations.
