Our organization does street outreach in our outreach bus. We give out hot meals, toiletries, blankets, clothing, tents, sleeping bags, and other basic necessities to the unhoused around the city of Antioch. We show up when code enforcement conducts encampment clean ups to assist the unhoused collect their most important belongings and bring out food and drinks to them. We pass out motel vouchers if we come across anyone living on the streets who are ill or have children with them. We also provide Narcan to the unhoused as we have had many unhoused living on our streets overdosing so we bring awareness about harm reduction. Due to the many fires that we have per year, we started a Fire Safety Program in which we distribute fire extinguisher kits to those living in dry areas and along our railroads. Our organization no only assist the unhoused but we hold raffles and help assist the community that is at risk with food and other supplies.
