OMBI addresses the lack of preventive mental health care services. Our evidence-based mental health programming and resources are delivered for individual learning and in schools and organizations and are distinguished by the following: -we offer simple, powerful skills that will be used throughout life. -OMBI emphasizes prevention, and supporting mental health education for all, rather than pathology. -we incorporate the mind-body connection that is missing in traditional cognitive approaches. -discussion of mental health is normalized and destigmatized through universal teaching of skills. -we create organizational sustainability by training non-mental health professionals to continue teaching our approach within their organizations.
