Dementia Friendly Fort WORTH collaborates with the community to care through connection, activities, resources, and education. We envision a community that honors, values, and supports people impacted by Dementia. During 2024 the ministry provided more than 11 Dementia awareness sessions that impacted care partners, college students, healthcare workers, professional care givers, physician residents, and the general population. Dffw offered numerous family resource calls and offered 262 virtual activity programs. The services of Dementia Friendly during 2024 impacted more than 1,200 unique individuals with Dementia, care partners, clergy, FIRST responders, high school students, medical students, and professionals. The organization also had more than 200 volunteer engagements, with numerous volunteers serving on a regular basis.
