Speakers Commission on Public Policy

The Commission is organized to identify and study issues relating to educational, social, financial and other matters of serious concern to residents of the state of mississippi and issues relating to the general health and welfare of residents of the state and the state as a whole; to identify and study Public policies that are being or could be considered as a means to address such Public Policy issues and the feasibility and efficacy of proposed Public Policy solutions; to conduct or otherwise facilitate seminars or forums directly or in concert with other orzanizations to discuss, debate, educate and increase Public awareness regarding important Public Policy issues and proposed Public Policy solutions to engender Public support for government proctices and Public policies that would improve the lives of mississippians; to support tax exempt organizations whose purpose is consistent with the foregoing purposes or is otherwise charitable or educational in nature.
