Bethlehem House Foundation, Inc. provides spiritual supports and faith experiences for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities who live in congregate residential settings in DC and Maryland. We have a partnership with a local Best Buddies organization who join us in our activities when school is in session during the fall and spring semesters. We host a Catholic Mass offered at a nearby venue followed by a dinner for the community---residents of the group homes, their direct support staff and the Best Buddies. The meal is offered for free. And the Foundation also organizes weekend events for our community, such as socials, going to movies, etc. This sometimes involves paying for transportation, food, and the cost of the event such as movie tickets. These residents and others with disabilities have very limited income, so the Foundation has hosted these events for free. Total cost of program expenses 2022: $8583
