To provide easily accessible quality evidenced-based Nutrition services to individuals and groups as well as some personal training and group fitness classes to support the development of our community Nutrition program. We offer Nutrition services to those with health insurance including Medicaid and keep out-of-pocket rates the same as Medicaid rates to assure more financially accessible health care support. For clients who anticipate using health insurance who deny claims out-of-pocket rates are not charged for denied sessions to reduce unanticipated financial burdens. In 2023 we continued to save a portion of revenue to cover partial costs for a community Nutrition education class based on DASH dietary eating principles. The first 4-week course is scheduled for Spring 2024 and offered to the community through a collaboration with Happy Valley Parks and Recreation.
