Public Invention

Public Invention seeks to alleviate poverty and educate by creating a movement for open-source hardware Invention. We "Invent in the Public, for the Public". Our work centers on humanitarian inventions, specifically in the biomedical space. We are working on a ceramic oxygen concentrator for NASA, a global distributed tracking system for medical supplies, a general purpose alarm device, a more efficient cooking stove for wood-based fires, and are developing a ferrofluid check valve.
