The Foundation has the dual charitable purposes of (1) producing a historically accurate feature film about George Washington and Alexander Hamilton during the Revolutionary War, exhibiting the film in theaters in the United States and thereafter facilitating the viewing of the film in high schools as part of their American History curriculum (the educational component); and (2) in the event there are net profits received by the Foundation as a result of the film's theatrical exhibition, to distribute a substantial portion of such profits to qualifying soldier and youth charities in the United States, with such distributions to be made within the five year period immediately after the film's initial exhibition, as determined by a three-person independent Charitable Distribution Committee chaired by a retired senior (cabinet-level) member of the United States government, or their delegate (the charitable component).
