Program put on hold due to covid 19 during 2020, expenses of horses were still required during 2022 - handicapped and special needs childrens therapeutic horse riding program, called Palomino pals-the program is intended to aid in the physical stability of the child and the emotional nurturing created by the exposure to a new activity. Riding a horse helps muscular development and stability. The program is conducted at a local stable by the programs director, organizations members and public volunteers. The children seen in the program have many different disabilities and special needs, some of which are -- blindness, downs syndrome, cerebral palsy, cancer, Autism, etc. since 2012 we have served from 55 to a little over 60 special needs children helped through the program.
