Friends of Odell House Rochambeau Headquarters Inc

Odell House Rochambeau Headquarters (ohrh) is an organization which was formed to work with the town of greenburgh, ny, which owns the building. The House is a national register historic House that was built in 1732 which was the Headquarters of the comte de Rochambeau, commander of the French forces who came to America to assist general george Washington and the continental army during the revolutionary war. It was at this site that the two generals met for six weeks, scouted the British forces in Manhattan and made the decision to march to yorktown, Virginia. That decision resulted in the decisive victory that ended the war.
