Initium Cares

In 2019, Initium health established its nonprofit arm, Initium Cares, to provide infrastructure support to communities seeking to address structural barriers to their safety, health, and wellbeing. As a fiscal sponsor, Initium Cares leverages the acumen of its for-profit arm to help improve the efficacy of those with lived experiences seeking to self-organize to improve the conditions within their communities. Initium Cares provides the back-office services to community-based organizations freeing them up to focus on their mission driven activities. Initium Cares is seeking to move deeper into the communities most impacted by the inequities giving them the structural foundation upon which to amplify their voice and grow their programs. We are committed to reducing health inequities to improve human health, but we know that we need the community to help us reach our goals.
