Corentyne Cottage House

Is the outgrowth of a private collection of art of the African diaspora. An over thirty year collection that is diverse, contemporary and inclusive of both male and female artists. The Corentyne Cottage House is looking to forge connections between art and audiences; offer artists in all media an opportunity to interpret, and present their work; provide innovative, interdisciplinary, introductory education programs; and be an active partner in developing the cultural landscape of New Orleans. Our values are inquiry, diversity, collaboration and accessibility, with a focus on developing young minds into art appreciators and individual thinkers.
