Rural Digital Youth Resiliency Project

An independent organization that advances public understanding of the risks Rural community members encounter online and provides services and education to affected communities. Our work examines who has access, who has power, and who is harmed in Digital and civic infrastructure, journalism, and democratic processes in Rural America. We provide trauma-informed resources and support communities of practice to counter alienating, shame-based narratives to build community resilience within Rural communities. This includes impact production and screenings of educational documentary films, development of Rural-focused, trauma-informed educational materials, Digital safety and wellbeing for parents and children, and civic engagement outreach to Rural young people.
