Together for West Africa

Together for West Africa (TFWA) is an Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) program services nonprofit with direct poverty-assistance program services being delivered by field personnel to families, children and adults, in Togo, West Africa. The field personnel of TFWA are headquartered in Caldas da Rainha, Portugal. The general funds donated to TFWA by donors in the USA compose the entire general budget for the organization. There are two main programs delivered by TFWA field personnel and their associates in Togo throughout the year -- Togo Family Assistance Program and the Togo Tigers Program (mainly ABCD delivered to young Togolese men and women). The TFWA field peronnel make two trips (1-2 months each trip) a year to Togo to deliver services "on the ground in Togo." This also allows TFWA field personnel time to strengthen their relationship with the Togolese associates in country.
