Eye movement desensitization training and reprocessing training (emdr) 9 providers received matching pay-it- forward grants to attend basic I and 2 trainings held at university of Texas rio grande valley. Matching grants were offered to the first two cohorts to attend the low energy neurofeedback trainings in San Antonio, based on their training level. Fourteen completed the training. Recipients agreed to be trained in return for offering pro bono and low fee slots as well as continuing into certification and into leadership to train future providers in the field as they develop their expertise. Thirteen were granted registration to the emdria conference in Seattle to be able to connect with providers all over the world, represent the Texas delegation, and build the infrastructure for leadership and presence.
