To provide recreational opportunities that inspire personal growth, promote healthy lifestyles, combat social isolation, and create a sense of intergenerational Community for a diverse population of children, teens, adults, and elderly residents of the city of rockville and other neighboring communities by improving, maintaining, and operating Community recreational facilities. To work in Community partnership with the city of rockville and surrounding communities with a specific objective of reducing the governmental burden of the city of rockville. To provide and support education and training initiatives related to recreational instruction, healthy lifestyles, and safety as permitted by law, including but not limited to, the code.
