Marcia's LIGHT designed green bridges football program with Arab and Jewish students. There will be 15 sessions involving cross-cultural learning and then soccer training, strategy and playing among 40 students (ages 9-12) of algzali school (kfar kessim) and itamar netanya school (netanya). Each session will be supervised by professional educators and physical education teachers. Each will start with half an hour of age-appropriate educational content about each other's language and cultures, followed by soccer activities with both teams mixing together. The meetings will provide a festive atmosphere for the students to bond not only on the athletic field but also during entertainment, play and singing activities.
