Human Restoration Project

Human Restoration Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that works to restore humanity to education through research, storytelling, and on-the-ground partnerships. Our work operates on three levels: (1) informing about the need for progressive, Human-centered education; (2) guiding educators through free resources, professional development, and a self-paced learning platform; and (3) growing the movement through coalition building and grassroots advocacy. Key programs include Polaris Education, a student empathy interview platform serving 45+ districts and 8,500+ students; the Human-Centered Schools Network, integrating student voice and teacher leadership into school transformation; and the Third Coast Learning Collaborative, a $3.9M DOE EIR grant supporting school cohorts in Muskegon, MI. We also produce 245+ published articles, 150+ podcast episodes, and 40+ free resources for educators.
