The SCARS Project fosters collaboration between community leaders and groups to stem the growth of trauma among our veterans, survivors of sexual or other abuses, first responders, fire, police and medical professionals, their friends and families, and others. The purpose of the SCARS Project is to provide low cost or no-cost educational materials and programs including plays, movies, books and other media to assist and benefit those suffering with post traumatic stress disorder (Ptsd) or other psychological trauma. These materials will also assist families and loved ones. Providing these services and materials for victims and their relatives on a charitable basis is, and will be, a guiding principle for our activities.
