The Darrell Lee Jenkins JR. Resource Center is dedicated to honoring Darrell's legacy and walking boldly in God's grace by providing compassionate, culturally responsive, and judgment-free support to families, children, and communities impacted by grief, whether from gun violence, homicide, substance use, or other tragic loss. Survivor-led and trauma-informed, we recognize unresolved grief as a profound public health and equity issue, and we address it as a risk factor for negative outcomes in youth and families. By creating sacred spaces for healing, empowerment, and resilience, we ensure no one faces life's hardest moments alone. Through advocacy, education, and holistic support, we stand as a light in the darkness, healing grief and trauma while promoting justice and equity, so that every child and family has the chance to thrive beyond loss.
