Life Wide Open

The purpose and mission of Life Wide Open (LWO) is to provide resources, funding, and leadership to organize, promote, manage, and implement events that include running, walking, hiking, biking, and other outdoor sports and activities, opportunities to volunteer, and other activities that promote a healthy lifestyle in the community; host or otherwise facilitate community education on topics of interest, provide awards, organize social events, and all such other activities as may be conducive to the furtherance of LWO's purpose; support local charities as approved by the board of directors; identify and cultivate relationships with individuals, groups, corporations, and entities that support, provide, or promote recreational activities and outdoor aid; and carry out such activities as are necessary to maintain and further LWO's nonprofit, tax-exempt status.
