People CYCLING is a bicycle touring club focused on offering opportunities for our members to experience education and culture on bicycle tours throughout the world. Founded in January 2020, and with a slow start during the pandemic, we offered 43 tours in 2023 and 50+ in both 2024 and 2025. Over 1200 members have participated in tours since our founding and we have 861 current members. Our tours are primarily divided into two groups: volunteer led and hosted domestic tours and commercially-supported international tours. The former are typically 50-60 percent less expensive than similar tours offered by for-profit commercial bicycle touring companies and 20-40 percent less expensive than comparable non-profit bicycle tours that serve as fundraisers for non-profit organizations. International tours are at a discount but given the logistical, licensing, and insurance requirements our volunteer leaders work with a local bicycle touring company.
