Barrio Independent Productions aims to promote diverse and meaningful dialogues on mental health through compelling performing arts and cultural Productions that explore the traditions, values, and emotional landscapes of New York communities. Recognizing the importance of mental well-being, we are committed to raising awareness of our human vulnerabilities and creating a positive impact for the community thought-provoking, engaging, and entertaining experiences that foster empathy, understanding, and cultural exchange. The Corporation seeks to connect its audiences and make alliances with other organizations and institutions in order to facilitate artistic work as a public service. The Corporation is committed to providing educational programs for the benefit of the community striving to create awareness on the importance of mental well-being, including, but not limitedto, cultural and artistic programming, educational workshops and community events.
